You must identify the trap patterns you're on for each level and execute some small tricks to get through the game as fast as possible fulfilling the requirements for each category with your best inputs at the right moments.


Illbleed is a comedy horror survival game that has you the player play as one of five playable characters, (Eriko, Kevin, Michel, Randy and Jorg) through Michael Reynold's Virtual Horror Land, "ILLBLEED" for the chance of winning $100,000,000 if you can make it through alive. But first Eriko needs to go through every horror attraction at the park rescuing her friends who had gone missing for a few days after it opened. And it's her job to not just save her friends, but find out who's behind the creation of this park.

**Introduction**

This guide will teach you a must know when it comes to speedrunning Illbleed. As it can save you minutes in your level executions. As this will help you avoid unnecessary and avoidable encounters in levels like Home Run of Death, Killer Department Store or Woodpuppets where you can end up in unwanted encounters because of enemies that move on the map.

**What is Paus Stunning?**

Pause Stunning or Pause Freezing is when you open your map to freeze everyone and everything in your line of sight or have spawned. As the game stops everything its doing to load up your pause menu. Which means it takes a moment for the game to re-route an enemy's pathfinding AI. This only works outside of encounters, so you can't use them there. But when used elsewhere it can give you the oppertunity to do things like this.

Pause Stunning allows you to have a few moments of time to let you maneouver around an enemy, which is most useful in levels like Woodpuppets and The Home Run of Death, where you're going to liekly be having to avoid unwanted encounters. And there's also the use of this where you can use it to despawn certain enemies depending on the spot you pause in, as it doesn't let the game register that you were in that area unless you stand still for long enough. 

Nobody is sure as to who found out about Pause Stunning first, but it's a must have piece of knowledge whenever you're trying to run Illbleed or playing in general hoping to get through something faster.

**How To Pause Stun**

It's reccomended that you use the map by pressing the Y button as it takes less time to load up and it's more effective and useful than pressing the start button. But either way it's as easy as it looks. Literally anyone can pull it off.
